Representing Nigeria at the Creative Business Cup Global Finals 

In 2024, OJ Technologies proudly represented Nigeria at the Creative Business Cup Global Finals in Copenhagen. Chosen as Nigeria’s national winner, OJ Technologies stood among finalists from over 80 countries, showcasing innovations that merge virtual reality, AI, robotics, and medical science. 

The company’s CEO and co-founder Joseph Ojighoro took the stage to present their work in transforming medical training and patient care in Africa. His pitch struck a chord, highlighting how technology can address critical gaps in healthcare access and infrastructure across the continent. The event spotlighted Ojighoro as one of the standout founderssymbolizing not only innovation but also resilience, relevance, and social value.

Founded in Nigeria, OJ Technologies is a medtech company on a mission: to democratize access to quality healthcare education and digital infrastructure using next-generation tools. Their work spans:

They’ve secured $249,000 in disclosed funding, with backers including Chrispa Investments and Pepperl+Fuchs, and have gained partnerships with organizations such as Orange Corners, AWS, Google for Startups, and UNILAG.  

 

What’s Next? 

Following their CBC participation, OJ Technologies is charting a roadmap for scale: 

  • Expanding simulation kit distribution to medical schools and hospitals. 

  • Deepening partnerships with African ministries of health and academic institutions. 

  • Launching additional tools in diagnostics and mobile health platforms.
